Activating and using bin numbers in QuickBooks Enterprise

You can add a bin location to an existing site as long as the Row, Shelf or Bin preference is enabled. To turn on bin tracking follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to Edit at the top menu bar, and select Preferences.
  2. Choose Items & Inventory, and select Company Preferences at the top.
  3. Click the Advanced Inventory Settings button.
  4. Under Multiple Inventory Locations, check the box beside Track bin Locations within Inventory Sites (row, shelf, or bin).
  5. Click OK twice.
