In basic, there are five methods provided by Authorize.Net for customers to integrate the system with their website.

Direct Post Method (DPM)

This is a faster and full control checkout process offered by Authorized.Net. This option gives customers complete control over the pages for better customer’s checkout experience. With this method, customers can choose to create own checkout form and host it on their own server.

Advanced Integration Method (AIM)

If you are looking for the most secure and flexible integration that supports all types of transactions (mobile, website, business apps), Advanced Integration Method (AIM) might be the best choice.
